New York State Region 7
ODYSSEY of the MIND
March 6, 2010

Shenendehowa High School, Clifton Park, NY

The 2010 Region 7 Odyssey of the Mind competition is over, and a great time was had by all! All 100 Region 7 teams worked hard, tried their best and can feel the satisfaction of a job well done. Please follow this link for a complete listing of the scores in all problems.

The success of this large of an event is due in no small part to the efforts of many, many people. The tournament doesn't take place without the volunteer coaches, the children on the teams, the support of their parents and school districts and the volunteers who judge, register the teams and provide information. Our thanks to the Shenendehowa School District, who hosted the tournament for the first time!

Special appreciation to:

Dr. L. Oliver Robinson, Superintendent; Amy Cullen, Shenendehowa Community Services Coordinator; Gina Scotto di Carlo, PTA President; Jodi Bailey, PTA Odyssey Coordinator and staff of Shenendehowa Central School District for hosting all of us today.

And to our Problem Captains: Wayne Otte, Paula Bianchi, David Todd, David Grapka, Hal Hoffman, Donna Denny, Beth Brownell, Jackie Otte and Dave West

Congratulations to all 100 coaches, teams and their parents!

A great big thank you to all 130 of our judges. This tournament could not go on without you - you did a phenomenal job and we hope to see you again next year!
