Get
SPONTANEOUS!
Spontaneous
Plus !!! is a fall workshop to be held at: Averill
Park High School, 146 Gettle Road, Averill Park, NY 12018
on September
20, 2008 -
registration begins at 8:30 am, program starts promptly at
9:00 am.
For the seventh consecutive year, the New York State Odyssey
of the Mind
program is offering a workshop to help young people hone
their creative problem solving skills. In the past we have
focused on improving skills and techniques for solving
Spontaneous problems. And, again this year, we will
include a "Style" segment with the program.
The workshop is open to both program participants and to
adults (coaches, officials, etc.). It's a great way for
coaches and officials to pick up some information and
participate in the program. The workshop is limited to the
first 100 registrants, so please click on the link to the NYSOMA
web page and register early.

Fingerprinting
Artists
Late last year, the Capital Region BOCES Board of
Education passed rigorous Fingerprinting regulations, by
which our Arts In Education Artists must abide.
We are working with the artists to ensure that they
meet these requirements.
When
you have artists in your schools, please remember that
they must at all times be supervised by District
personnel!
Thanks for your attention to this vital AIE Rule!
