Region 7 Step by Step From September to March

  1. Send $135 to Odyssey of the Mind National and get the problems.
  2. Read problems.
  3. Register with Region 7 as a coach.  See Forms link on main page.
  4. Develop a team of up to 7 kids. 
  5. Do general brainstorming and creative problem solving with your team.
  6. When you are sure about your team members, choose a national problem to solve.
  7. Attend a training session for coaches.
  8. Develop a solution.
  9. Send in the State membership form.
  10. Recruit a judge and a volunteer.
  11. Your judge must attend the training.
  12. Bring your team to the regional tournament.


2005-2006 Fees:

   $135        National per building
AND

     $ 70         NYSOMA per building through December 15, 2005 OR

 $120 NYSOMA per building through January 15, 2006 (late fee)
AND

     $106       per team registration received by January 6, 2006 (BOCES aidable) OR
     $156       per team registration received after January 6, 2006 (late

fee) (BOCES aidable)
