2009 -2010 NYS Region 7 ODYSSEY of the MIND

Region 7 Tournament: Shenendehowa
High School, Clifton Park, NY
With 100 teams, this year will be bigger and better than ever in
Shenendehowa, our new host! We look forward to seeing old and new faces
at this year's tournament.
In Shenendehowa High School East you will find Problems 1-5 and the
Odyssey Sales and Concession Stand. Primary and Spontaneous will be in
the High School West.
Radio Disney will be working the crowd at 3:00PM followed by the parade
and award announcements. We are looking forward to a creative and
exciting day!

Please note that your NYSSMA registration fees are a BOCES Aidable
expense under the Arts in Education Coser. Please encourage your music
professionals to use the attached form, also available in a “fillable”

it to us at the same time that they register for the festival to ensure
that we get payment to the Chairperson in a timely manner.

This year Capital Region BOCES will collaborate with the NYS Alliance
for Arts Education offering workshop for arts educators on Friday, March
26, 2010, the last day of Common Ground 2010.

Common Ground, March 24-26, 2010, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Albany, NY, is the
annual New York State arts-in-education conference that brings
administrators, teachers, teaching artists, and community members
together for three days of policy setting, planning, exchange of skills
and inspirational speakers. This gathering contributes to fresh
curriculum design, school reform and new models for classroom learning.
