The Arts Educators Network coordinates professional development and networking opportunities for teachers of art, music, theater and dance.

The professional development program is sequential and cumulative with plans to formalize the required 175 hours over 5 years of professional development for arts educators to  stimulate enthusiasm, skill and effective curricula for the visual and performing arts classrooms. 

The Arts Educator Network offers arts professional development to an extended region through a consortium with other BOCES, by working closely with the Greater Capital Region Teacher Center and through continued efforts to explore collaborative efforts.

The Arts Educators Network coordinates after school workshops, the Arts Professional Development Day, the Media Arts Festival and Competition and curriculum writing in the summer Electronic Arts Institute.
